Youth exchange “Youth power” | February 2019

The Youth Exchange “Youth Power” was implemented in Tanzania with host Chamwino Arts Center in February 2019 where young persons from deprived areas facing social obstacles or who had financial difficulties or were Not in Education, Employment or Training, so called NEETs group were involved. The Youth Exchange developed the attitudes in the participants and made them aware of women empowerment importance, the participants discovered new cultures, habits and life-styles, mainly through peer-learning and sport activities.

The following opportunities were given:

Friendly match with JMKteam at JMK Park
Get to know Chamwino Arts Center
Presentation at the University of Dar es salaam
Football match against Baobab Girls
Cultural visit at the Bagamoyo
Training with Fountain Gate Academy U13 Kids
Sports Dar Es Salaam City Visit

Visited Bagamoyo Heritage, the famous historical site in Tanzania. And the getaway of slaves from East Africa.

Great support was given by the Director of Champion Arts Centre – Mr. Kedmon Mapana and his assisting manager Mr. Tchalewa Ndeki!
